I'm here to tell you that I ate the best swordfish of my life at this restaurant. The live jazz rocks too and I love how the interior is spacious! Great spot and great service as well

Came back for brunch and had a very pleasant experience. The place was much less crowded which helped us enjoy the music and ambiance. Our server, Juan, was really kind as well. We ordered the Shakshouka and French toast. Both were good but not amazing. The drinks felt a little watered down compared to what I had tried in previous visits. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars because the food and drinks felt overpriced for the quality.

I found out at the last minute that the show I was seeing at the Calderwood was canceled and since I paid to get to the South End I figured I might as well grab dinner. I walked around a lot trying to find a place that was fitting the mood and ended up going...directly next door to the theater. It was a cold and rainy night so the warm and energetic Beehive was a very welcome respite. I was happy to get a table right away, and despite being a solo diner they gave me a nice corner booth so I had a lot of space. My server was great and helped me parse through the menu. I was most called to the small plates and ordered a few of those instead of an entree. I ended up getting the truffled cauliflower, baby gem lettuce salad, and the frites. The cauliflower was PERFECT. It had just the right crisp without being oily and chewy, and the truffle sauce was great. When I want fried cauliflower this is exactly the dish I'm always imagining. The salad was perfectly dressed and the frites were delicious. Paired with some good wine and a live jazz combo? Perfect evening. Thanks for saving the day Beehive.

The vibes here are always high and the service is above and beyond. They are always making sure you are taken care of and happy with your seat or meal or drink. The jazz music is loud so keep that in mind but it's always so much fun! The food is fresh and delicious. The white bean dip is a must! So good. Butternut squash risotto was so creamy, adult Mac and cheese. After dinner we stayed around and got more drinks by the bar in the standing room. All of their cocktails are so good. I come here for dinner or just to grab a drink. Love this place so much!

First time here. wished we were seated by the stage to hear the music as it was muffled by the bar and column we were near. It a little tight so if you don't mind some else sitting a foot from you no problem. The food was delicious as the drinks service was good but felt a little rushed to turn the table I did notice the manager hovering over the staff to turn the tables
